View Full Version : Going away for 2 weeks... Disconnect battery ??

Going away for 12 days. Should i disc. battery of my TL for the duration or will it be fine. Or anything else i should do?
Opinions?

I wouldn't worry about it. I went away for 6 weeks everything was fine left parked as is when I got back.

If you were really worried about it you could put it on a trickle charger rather than disconnect it. But as Joukowski has said you souldnt have any problems.

Only if you know your battery is in poor condition. My car wasn't started for 6 weeks too. No issues there except the stone chips in the bonnet didn't heal.

I was over sea's for 3 Months and my Battery was fine when I got back. Started first Kick. By the way thats not the standard crap mitsubishi battery. That died after about 1 year.

I am now overseas, had someone to start the car for me every twice a week.

Two weeks aint much.. its all good.. Depending on ur battery cond, the worst that will happen is its flat when u get home.. :D Just leave it conected.. wont hurt anything.. :D

Starting the car will make it go flat. You have to drive it for a bit so it charges. :)

They are probably thrashing the **** out of it , with the speedo disconnected
