New mods include Parabolics, Tint, 2.5" zorst cat back with twin stainless tip, Painted grill, Painted instrument cluster & shroud, and Alpine ICE. Oh yeh.... and a bit of elbow grease to polish it up last weekend so i can show it off next weekend if i don't have to work. Haven't been on one of these cruises yet and am pretty keen to make this one!! :cool: :cool:

Nice and very neat looking ride - White Magna's can look good when done well.

Yes it's an Airbag steering wheel. Cluster bezel is painted same color as grill. Surround looks better in the flesh i must admita as photo doesn't do it any justice!!

i plan to do that orange indicator thingo this weekend...if i have my car back... You have to heat take cover off and then tint... well thats what im doing.

I'm talking about the orange plastic inside the front corner indicators.
If you look at the corner indicators on the front of TR/TS Magna's (not Verada) they have clear lenses and a orange/amber plastic bit inside which makes the light amber for the indicator.

You can take the indicator off, break the amber/orange plastic bit and take it out (in pieces).
Then replace the standard globe with a special globe that looks clear/chrome but flashes amber.

Here's a thread that explains it and has a couple of other pictures of Kim's car. I once did a step-by-step write-up but cannot find it now :doubt:

Thanks for that. It sux though that ya can't get aftermarket indicators, tail lights etc for the second gens, like ya can for third gens. There'd be a market for them. I'd be the first to line up for them!!! :rant:

05 mitsubishi outlander pajero 380 and nimbus theres alot of cars with them; cost you 108$ for both from mitsu, or if you know someone with this car swap them for yours; as in if they dont care for the look of their cars.

The clear one look very nice by the way.

Does that cluster restrict seeing it in daylight?

No Problems seeing it during daylight. Helps if ya got your eyes open :badgrin:

lol thanks paul for showin my car jacked up on 1 side :P but in all seriousness, TeaSSE mate, ur car looks awesome! i absolutely LOVE those rims u got on ur car, and yeah a black ks verada grill would set ur car off even better! ino by experiance :cool: people tell me to colour code it blue too like my bumper, but i love it bein black, keep up the good work dude!

Yeah, agree. From the cars I have seen, the darker colours seem suit colour coded grilles but the lighter cars seem to suit the black Grille - especially with the Verada Lights.

So where would i get a KS grille and how much?? :) :)

try ur local wreckers or smash repairer- the price varies a bit from place to place, my bro got my parras and grille dirt cheap from the wreckers who dint kno that the parras are expensive to sell, think my bro got the grille for like 50 bucks
