ok.

i have a response AA-0434 150WRMS X2 amp

with

a Pioneer 12" TS-W304F sub in a correct diameter box, non-ported.

the amp is bridged, giving the sub the full 300WRMS it is requiring.

my problem is:

it hardly doofs... i have been fiddling with the knobs on the amp, and with the settings on my HU, which is a pioneer 1650 (near base model 2004..) (or was it 2005... )

anyway.

yer. the sub can be free air, so i turned it around in the box. made no effect.

anyone got an idea?

Have you got a sub setting on your HU that you can adjust/turn on?
What are the gains set up like on the amp?
Is there any noise at all?

I assume you've got it on LPF too?

I'm running a sub off approx 250WRMS and there's no issues at all... It's somewhere in your settings. Are you 100% sure all the equipment is ok?

Does the Sub move at all.?
Does it really hammer Hard when you turn the volume up ??

Or has the Bass just completely gone all together no sub Movement at all??

First thing is you are giving the sub 450WRMS and it is not pleasing you..... buy another sub.

Those subs are never going to get loud and are better on a baffle. You have it in a box for start which is a bit of a no no. Free air means that does not require a box, not that you can mount arse out. Try this, get some wood and cut out the shape of the sub and mount it on, make it as big as possible and see if that is any better.

Dont think it is the grounding cause if it was the amp would shut down, or not turn on.

If you mids give out bass then I would say your setting on your headunit are good as you dont have a sub out.

Dude take it out of the box and make a baffle or buy a sub that suits a box. :D
