do we really need an alarm? i thought the immmobliser will do the job, if they cang et past that then they can get past alarms. or you meant breaking into your car?

I have a Mongoose M80, does the job pretty well!

And I will recommend it!

Oh, by the way, I think he means "breaking-into".....

Three times aye??

The best security is not to leave things in the car, or at the very least, hide anything that may look valuable.

Haha theres nothing wrong with stockers :P

The horn is quite loud and annoying. Even though it doesnt have a window breakage sensor (or microwave proximity sensor), the culprit will need to open the door once they break the window, so the alarm will go off anyway.

Although I do want to fit GPS tracking back-to-base system at a latter stage.

Pull the horn relay out and the stock alarm shuts up. Stock (Magna) alarms are sh*t.

no alarm will stop someone getting ur car if they want it.

Insurance is the best bet.

nevertheless I sleep well at night with my security...

too true!.

an alarm will only do so much for you... if they want it that bad, they will get it.

its like a padlock on your gate at home...it'll stop the honest theifs.

Stealth install and a a Flashing LED does it for me... If I posted what alarm was fitted, then the Thieves would know and my Security system would be come a bit of a Bad investment as Suprise is the Best known deterrent...

well last week was my plates in another suburb...

this week was my stereo setup...

they seem like they took their times, coz they got
- Sony deck, stacker, 2xamps, digital camera (forgot in car), pair of shoes, bus keys *dunno why*.

they even removed the centre console setup without breaking it and left all the screws for me to put back in place... how sweet of the marthafarqers...

 Well its quiet where i live so if something makes noise, they will deter theives as does an alarm....

They cannot steal the car coz of the immobiliser..... :bash: :soapbox:

Anyone here sell or do alarm installs... PM me if u in sydney coz need one immediately...
PM brand, and install cost plz and contact numbert!!!!

I love smilies
