Help me clever peoples!
I've found lots of oil in the engine bay just then. It seems to be mostly sittin on top of the extractors. Theres also been some white smoke coming from the exhaust more when you put your foot down.
Whats happening- just a seal or maybe more?
Rebuild was done 8,000kms ago.
And another thing- I've put the 18's off the other car onto my car and put stockies onto the other one for the mean time but for some reason no matter how tight the bolts are done up they go all loose by themselves... (stockies on maroon car)
Whats going on here?

with your wheel nuts, might be ***** threads on the nuts themselves. I've got the same problem on my car.
With the oil and smoke problem, could be youe head gasket????

for the oil id say ur head gasket is gone. for ue wheels the threads might be gone on the actuall thing the u bolt on to. or the nut could be big. but ye get the gasket fixed fast coz it wont be pretty later

clean engine down with degreaser.. then run it for a bit to find out where the oil is actually coming from would be a good start.

Check your engine oil first though and make sure it's not dry ;)
Looks like youre gonna need new gaskets.
Especially with that amount of oil coming out.. You havent overfilled it by chance?

Strongly doubt it- Mal (madmagna) does the work on this one.
The smell of the oil burning is sooo horrid.

For that amount of oil, and it blowing white smoke, I'd say head-gasket.

Are you using the stock wheel nuts on your stock wheels?
Yeah cam cover gasket is gone, not expensive about $25 from Mitsu spare parts last time I purchased one.
Have to go with phonic on that one the oil looks like (from the pics) its coming from the rocca cover gasket the head gasket actually sits lower than your extractors.
Why dont you get mal to check it out karen??

I agree with phonic and slug. Is the smoke coming out the exhaust or can you just see it in the rear view mirror as you drive. It could just be burning off the extractors. Rocker/tappet/cam cover gasket is above the extractors, head gasket is below.
Is the car running hot or is the oil milky in appearance?

No it is not the head gasket for all the drama queens out there who only know that part name on a car.
The rocker cover gasket is leaking, may have come a little loose or although was new when the heads were done may have pinched which sometimes happens

lol :bowrofl:
Yep, rocker cover gasket, firstly try just washing it down and tightning the bolts,
And for the wheel nuts, is the taper on the nut correct for the type of wheel.

Are the wheel nuts the right way round i.e. with the chamfered side towards the wheel?
