Hey, I have a 1990 TP Sedan (Carburettor), and when I turn the car on every morning (when it's dead cold) it revs at about 1500rpm, slowly decreases to 1000rpm when it's warming up before I go out and drive. (Takes about 5 mins or so). Later in the day, I can start it up at it'll go straight to 1000rpm because it's still warm from the drive before hand.
Now, it used to start up and rev at about 1000rpm and stay there whilst warming up, what do I have to adjust to get it back to that?

E-mail sent, enjoy :D
Your problem is probably the cold/fast idle.

Thank you very much, I'll have to give this a shot in about 2 weeks time. Hope my car doesn't run too badly from there.

thats actually a problem? :doubt:
i turn my car on every morning and its up at 2000-2500
(its a carby auto)
once its warm its idling at 700-1000
(obviously after a nice long run, the car idle's lower)

Yeah it just means your cold idle is set a bit high.
Did you want the scanned pages 2 :)
