Yep .. pretty useless.

But you could make it good by giving decent reasons as to why it **** rocks...

Also, add in some pricing, where to buy it etc etc..

Ahh, good idea.. :-)

The reason I think it's so good is because I have a number of songs I play that used to sound terrible, rattling in the boot-area, where bumpers would literally be bouncing back and forth. After applying SoundOff throughout the boot-area (excluding the bootlid, where I have Stinger Roadkill already) it worked a treat. I gave up on the spare wheel-well because I was too lazy to remove the tyre and what not.

The pricing is variable, I picked it up for $60 but RRP is $69 (at Stylyn Car Audio in Bentleigh).
That was for a 1L tub which on the packaging says 1sq meter (not feet, so don't get confused with Stinger, Dynamat with their 12sq ft measurements). It was very difficult to apply with a paintbrush, so I'd probably recommend using a spray-gun, but paintbrush did work fine too.

Also, if you go to Bentleigh and pick up a tub they give you a 10% discount thing and a free miniture mars-bar (which made the trip going back to my suburb more enjoyable). I'll definately be picking some more of this **** up within the next 2 months!

It still supposed to be drying but eh, it's worked so far.

Note: I'm not sure where-else you can buy this product in other states, i'm terribly sorry but I'm sure a few phone calls to some places won't hurt!

Do you have a pick of your work? I am interested in doing same but interested in what it all looks like.

I haven't got a picture of my work but I'll try and get some soon for you. It basically looks like cement, grey bumpy cement.

The paint is really good but can you get it off? I am concerned in areas that I want to return to stock ( like the top of my boot lid ) that the paint wouldn't come off like the mat will. Was looking into it though. I already have added 15-20kg in sound deadening, why stop now :D

You can get it off with a grinder, and then re-spray it. My sheets/stinger stuff wont come off, that stuff is almost like plastered in to it.

You can make custom bootlid covers yourself, that'd be piss easy, cut the mdf and cover it.

he was making it look factory, so using the existing holes for plastic clips etc, same carpet-whatever. is there any negative effects of running a capacitor thats installed into the bootlid? i've seen some rad installs like that and thought maybe it'd be silly because your lengthing the distance between the amp and the capacitor and the whole point is to have it close so it gets the power as soon as it needs it

I wouldn't see that having the capacitor on the bootlid would cause any problems, though people with capacitors often have a fire extinguisher with them. I don't, only cause if my car burns to pieces, insurance will cover me!
