i'm bidding on the item above for my tf magna which was pulled from a wrecked tf so i'm guessing its genuine.. i have the control paddles for the unit. i just want to know if that's all i need to get the cruise control in my car going? is there a cpu for it and is it a seperate unit or located with the motor. is it a big job to install?

i cant find any relevant information on this topic in these forums

cheers...

you need the cruise ECU located behind the ash tray. and you need the dash switch and the main wiring loom and globes for the dash lights. and a cruise throttle body. not sure about the BEM or brakeswitch.

oh damn......well the switches i have.... i'm still tossing whether or not i should bid on that unit.. i'll hit up the guy doing the auction, if he cant get the other parts could i source them from mitsubishi? i know they rip off their customers but i really want the cruise control cause i'm always drving long distances for work.

the clock spring connects the control on the wheel to the rest of the electrics without getting tangeld. but you might be better off going aftermarket cause I sort of half installed it for someone but we gave up.
