Madmagna reckons they are compatible, but best to check first.

thats a good price..
One thing i dont get, if u search thru the forums, everyone says u cant get superlows at all for 2nd gens at all, stopped making em... Only for 3rd gens
If the 3rd gens and 2nd gens use the same fronts, why dont people sell those for 2nd gen owners?...
..meh

that's because they just look at the catalogue without actual understanding of the car and what fits. The difference between a Mitsubisi specalist and just another auto shop.
Now, there is a catch. The travel of the TR is slightlyl shorter than that of a TE onwards, therefore even though the springs will fit, you literally sit lower and will bottom out easier. So fitting is one thing, how practicality is another. Just put another set of bump stops in to limit its travel if you are worried.

They are, my second gen has third gen springs in it right now!
As for putting superlows in a second gen the only real way to do this is to have different struts made that will allow better travel as if you use the standard ones you will end up with about an inch and a half of suspension travel.
The third gen are a thicker coil, ideal if you wish to get them compressed to bring the car lower
I found the King rears too "springy" so this is why I went to the third gen set.
If you have pedders just leave them a while and they will sag like mine did after about 6 months.
