Just a question...would anyone know roughly how much it would cost to swap an Auto TJ to Manual? I really wanna do this but i doubt i'll have enough money to. Would i have to swap alot of parts over in my engine too? I don't have a clue when it comes to the mechanical bit?

if you dont have a clue on mechanical bits then about 5000 grand inc labour
if you know how to do it then around 2k possibly depending where you buy your bits.
guru on the forums found a way not to replace the magna ecu so u can still use your auto ecu which saves a bit of money

You'd be looking at anywhere between $3000 and $6000+ depending on the condition of the gearbox you swap into it, and how much of the work you do yourself.
Do a search because the topic has been discussed dozens of times, and a member by the name of asylum has done the conversion on his TH(?). From memory asylums conversion came in at over $5000, and I'm pretty sure he did alot of the work himself - but I think he treated himself to an LSD and a H/Duty clutch while he was at it.

Would be almost cheaper to find/buy a Manual and swap over the bits from your car that you want to keep (wheels, bodykit, etc.)
But then you have to buy & sell cars etc. :doubt:

by the time u buy and sell cars u will lose a few grand anyway when you think about it...
probably get some poor amount for the car you have now, then when you buy a car same model or newer in manual it will be more expensive than what you sold your other car for and also have to pay stamp duty on it.
its a lose lose situation haha
