View Full Version : Belt on top of engine - what is it ?

Hi all,
newbie Magna onwer here. 1982 Tm (I think) Magna.
There is a belt at the top of the engine. Its a small belt and it has shredded itself.
What is this belt ?

Thats the water pump belt, extremely important, so don't go driving if its shreaded!

Dont run the engine without it.

If its a TM, its an 85/86 model for the record
Once again, I will just say it, dont even think about running it without the belt

Used the girlfriends stocking to get me to the garage to fix it and get new belt !!!!!
