To be honest I have never been shopping for 6x9's seriously, when I got some I just went yeah they are on special and that was it, with a sub who really cares, but anyways, will you be running a sub as well.

Best thing to do is audition as many as possible and see which ones you like the best, personally I would look in the Boston S range or Hertz energy range. If I had to get 6x9's seriously, I would get the Vibe rectangular ones loaded with a horn, they wont fit ( without mods ) into the rear shelf though and are a little more then $200 :D

Marty from FHRX Studios has a pair of Vibe SA69's ex-demo for only $100  ( RRP$241 they are not the square ones ). I got an ex-demo SRx2s and boy do you save. Full Warranty as well.

if you are running subs, get the same size as what u are running in the front (eg, 6") and just make up a simple MDF mount to hold them in. will be worth it in the long run, especially if u can match what is running up front

Depends how you will run them. Only for a bit of rear fill, or something to pump as hard as you can?

I'd vote for the JBL's... but then again you wouldnt expect anything else from me! These will thump hard.

I am actually running 3-way Pioneers in mine. They are only for some fill, but are a little louder than 'just a bit of fill' should be if you know what I mean.

What else you got in your system (HU, front stage, subs?) & done any deadening?

You wanna go loud as you can, or do you like quality sound?

I will second buying runnout new or ex-demo from FHRX... He had some Rainbow splits in there that retail for $1500 and sold them for UNDER A GRAND! Just wish I had bought them myself!

6x9's and Subs can work in Harmony when set up correctly..
If you are after just some Rear fill look at Pioneer..

If you want Performance and Quality then go for JBL, Eclipse and Kicker..

I Like the sound of High Quality 6x9's over 6inch Round ones.. but thats just me...

I use Blaupunkt GTX 6x9's down the Back of my Magna and they Blend in Well with my 12 inchers in the Boot at Meduim Volume but if I am Cranking it, the pressure gets too much and I have to fade them out a little...

If ur interested I got some top quality JBL 6x9's. The GT series. I think 175 w but can confirm that in a week.

PM me, if your pricerange is around $200 you should be able to find something fairly good.

What other gear u running? How much zap does the amp put out?
