Hey, just have a quick question please. Referring to the pics below would someone know whether the wiring plug for the stock TJ HU will fit into the KH verada HU? Thanks.

i don't think so.

are they the same brands? take em out and have a look at the plugs if u can.

single and double dinn, plugs aren't teh same.

I can take the single out but not until the weekend that's why I was hoping someone would know before then. The double din is a Eurovox and the other one is in my car so I'm not sure as it just says 'Hi Power'. It's probably also a Eurovox or possibly an Eclipse( aka Fujistu Ten).

:eh: Ok I just find it strange that Mitsubishi would bother putting a different OEM wiring harnesses into the Exec, Altera, Verada, Advance Sports, etc to accomodate all the different stereos that the 3rd Gens have had over the years. That's why I thought replacing a factory stereo with another factory stereo would be as simple as plug and play. Come to think of it, there just may be a number of different wiring harness behind the dash to accomodate all the stereos they put in them. Oh well, will find out tommorrow....

Why not? They did it with first gens!

Well, installed on Sat and what do you know....the plugs were the same!!! :D
