In my TR magna we have had this problem for about 10yrs now where FM does not work(was my mums car previously). The funny thing is if you run other electrcal devices in the car it decides to work. For example driving in the rain the other day all i was getting when i started the car was static, i then turned on the headlights and it got slightly better and then the wipers+headlights and it was working perfectly. Another example of this is on hot days when if the air con is off your getting static yet when you turn it on it's perfect. Is this just a headunit problem(i doubt it) or is there more to it. The reason i ask is i just bought a pioneer cd player off ebay and i want this problem fixed. What would i have to do exactly.

Also the right speaker hasn't worked for about 10 years either but im just hoping thats a head unit problem and not electrical. Does anyone think this would also be a electrical problem?
