Everyone with an EFI 1st gen should know by now that PeteW has my first 55mm oversize TB.
Because I'm a 3rd genner, I need you kind folks to fill the gaps in my knowledge base:
I need pics (external) of EFI 1st gen TB's.
I need to know how many different TB's there are. Are they like the 3rd gens with a base TB, then a base + cruise, then the TH+ base, base +cc, and base + cc +traction control? How many variants are there?
Assistance appreciated. Thanks.

im fairly sure there was only 2 styles
they where both exactly the same cept one has a hole before the butterfly you would have noticed this on petew's the others ones dont have that
also the cruise on gen1s are controled threw the cable that is away from the tb so no changes what so ever there, we never got any of the fancy traccont and what not so im fairly sure its only the 2 that are the same sept that little hole thats pluged up
I've got a manifold that's off the car at the moment. I'll photograph it. Standard TB

would need to replace the plenum as it was port matching mine was cutting it real close, with the side by side tb pic's you can see how much was removed

Can do that.
Where was the tightest area when the plenum was ported? When looking from the TB end into the plenum?

paint hand drawn pics! where the tb bolts onto is rather thick 12mm if i had to guess but the neck walls behind are only like 5mm if that, their is also another small lip inside the plenum see photo stock on the right modded on the left

doing that isn't going to increase power, if it were that simple why wouldnt mitsu just cast it mildly better in the begining?
