As I'm now working, I've managed to bring the timetable forward.

The block is now down at the shop to be machined, and I've ordered a heavy duty oil pump from RPW's local reseller down here. (Hi TJ VRX (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/member.php?u=2998)). I've also obtained another set of injectors, for my set were worn out.

Tomorrow sees the obtaining of a manual engine harness (One of the very few things I didn't want to recycle from the wagon), and after that, the only remaining things to obtain are the driveshafts, rear seat belts, suspension (Nick, PM or messenger me, please), refurbish the steering rack I got, and a new steering wheel. (The single spoke wheel is a bit dangerous)

Christmas break's going to be spent getting this on the road. New year's going to see it registered.

I can post some photos of it, come morning. Though, it is absolutely filthy.

I wish I had a shed. I'm out in the open.

From Dave, the oil pump's $150 plus freght. Part number OPA2090. I only ordered it locally, for I'll need to pay cash, as my credit card's dead.

Ta fer that. :D

Its worse ya know. Ive got a full size single garage with w'shop, but its full of all my sons ****.

I had to build a 6M X 3M garden shed in the back yard just to get my work area back.

Now I hafta wait till the council guy comes out to give it a tick to say its built right b4 I can use it.

Just to make you jealous, I've got a compressor and all the air tools and jacks and stands and tools and toys you'd eva wanna play with. lol

Took 30 years to collect them but.

No issue there. I got all the tools I need, bar vehicle ramps.

I gave up on the ramps, I just jack her up in the air a mile and stick it on stands, then I can get my fat ass under it on the creeper jigger. :D

Maybe I should blow up the council and pretend it was terrorists lol

Awesome stuff mate. Just keep in mind that the intermediate shaft is different from auto to manual. I put an auto one in mine once and the box leaked like a *****.

I am going to take E1 off the road after rego next year and put the brand new engine in, replace a couple of dinted panels and respray it!

Thanks for that. Manual into auto doesn't leak, but it is a difficult fit. I'll ensure I use manual shafts.
