I am running the TR engine until I get more $$ together to build up my brand new block. The new block is going to have my TS head (same as TR just marked M9) with the smaller combustion chambers and roller rockers. I will be retaining the flat top pistons from the first gens in the new engine to increase compression.

There is a little difference between the TR engine and the first gen engine - they seem to rev out easier and have a bit more down low.

As for the vote - I voted Elante but I was torn between it and the GT :)

I'm a big fan of 1990 Magna "ICUH8N" edition. Customised to ICUH8Ns perfection, comes stock with splits, 6x9s, subwoofer, amplifier and sound-deadening throughout the vehicle. Along-side it comes with an optional darker then legal tint. The vehicle has always been immaculate, with rust along every panel, bumps on every panel, and a completely ****ed suspension.

This special edition "ICUH8N" first generation carburettor TP Magna is valued at $10.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I love it!! :bowrofl: ures sounds like mine...only crap :P Mine has *zero* rust in it, I think it might have had a rust protector like fish-o-lene or something applied to it because I haven't seen anything else of the same age that isnt a rust bucket (except you guys on here of course). My preference is the GLX, 'cos that's what mine is. The only thing wrong with mine is that on a hot day when the air is slightly thin it will ping when the mighty 2.6 Astron II gets a bit of load on. If you gun it, the pinging goes away though

I only had a few small spots of rust. (Bottom of two doors, from those bloody grommets, and surface rust near the taillights)

Favorite variant... Err, How about the Grey Ghost? It was an upgraded Executive...

If not, a GLX, or SE with 5-speed and EFI.

TN Elite for me. With the two tone Grey on silver. Gotta love that digi speedo & tacho and fingertip controls...

Why is it that my TP Magna 1990 Executive doesn't have a ski-port hole? What back-seat would fit into it with a ski-hole as well? I want to have one. :|

Sweet, thanks for that. One other problem though, is with the back-frame support behind my seat is an X crossover (support for the car, id imagine)...what you reckon? get out the angle-grinder and start cutting?

i dunno it wouldnt be wise, i would have thought that mitsu would have made the same frame tho remember its not that big its also in a U shape about i dunno 30x30cm at a ruf guess around 5cm up from the boot floor, either take a pic of the frame for us to have a look or go to a wrecker and look at a mid/high range and see the difference if there is any
