I would buy a Jaycar 4x100WRMS amp, bridge 2 channels off it to run the sub.
Then I would buy and install a nice set of splits. Clarion make nice ones for $180 or so....spend the rest on some deadening for the front doors, or get them properly installed. Run these off the other two channels of the 4x100W.
Once you have some more dollars, buy a jaycar monoblock, and run the sub off that instead, and run the 6x9's off the now free channels of the 4x100W.

:bowrofl:
Yes, they are the ones that Tuffy has mentioned. I have been discussing them with him lately.... so I mentioned them.
Or you could always spend a bit more and go for JBL, JL Audio, Cadence....
Or spend more still and get Hertz HSK's that would rock your world.
The 4x100W is $299 (I'm told) and Hertz HSK165s are $360 - still within your budget.

What type of sub is it mate?
For bang for buck jaycar is ussualy the best thign to go with. But if you can spend a little more money then go for something better, If not just grab this

Try stay away from second hand audio gear, you have no idea what they have done to them. Its like buying from cash converters, they show you that it works by hooking it up on some random desk in the shop and then 2 weeks later it dies.
save up more and just get brand new.
