Ok. I been thinking about this for ages. now i jsut have a few Q's

1. If i put a pod on, am i ab le to easily go back to stock setup, like if i get defected or for resale
2. Refresh my memory, the are defectable in vic arn't they?
3. I will most probably be driving it for a while with no CAI, will this do any serious damage to my engine or pod or casue any F**k ups with my mas or ecu?
4 Are Bonnet Vents good enough to supply more air, coz if i go pod i won't do CAI i'll do a bonnet vent

Cheers to anyone who replys

I'll answer objectively to avoid arguments :D

1. If i put a pod on, am i ab le to easily go back to stock setup, like if i get defected or for resale

Yes it will be a simple matter of unbolting and rebolting the stock setup. Unless you have made a custom thing for cold air induction

2. Refresh my memory, the are defectable in vic arn't they?

I dont know for sure, best checking with VICROADS (is that what it's called?)

3. I will most probably be driving it for a while with no CAI, will this do any serious damage to my engine or pod or casue any F**k ups with my mas or ecu?

There will be no harm done, whats possible is that the pod will suck in hot engine bay air which will cause the car to run lean/rich (I cant remember which one, but I think it's rich) and this means excessive fuel consumption and loss of power.

4 Are Bonnet Vents good enough to supply more air, coz if i go pod i won't do CAI i'll do a bonnet vent

Bonnet vents would be fine.

POD is good, If not why do you think all the jap and most euro tuners go for POD in the first place? It has been proven effective..

For the panel part, I'll let WIdowmaker come in and dispute this fact coz he loves his panel...

How come people call it a pee oo dee (POD)? It's a pod, just like a pod of peas, not a POD of peas.

True they do, but you're looking at different cars.

I can only go by my experience Nick, so if you've had other results then I'll stand corrected. But what I've seen with pods on magnas is that they're ok without cai, nothing more than a panel though, and in some cases I've seen them make the car run worse. But when hooked up to cai then they're great.

I know once a decent CAI system can be made for the TR/TS models I'll DEFINITELY get a pod then. :D

I have nothing against them, I just think they should have a good cold air feed to have their potential maximised.
