i have a 91 KR verada. Hmm its stuck in 3rd. i'm not sure if its in limp mode or what. Does anyone have any info on transmission computer pinouts or any info that may help. I have pulled out the transmission computer and the car drives the same as when its plugged in. :?

have you tried disconnecting the battery for a while to see if the computer will reset??

also when was the last time you had the gear box fluid changed? might be time for a good service!

Then the computers dead. I've heard of so many people having this problem now, wierd.

Heyas, In melbourne here. Was reading some of the other posts and a guy was saying that he had the same problem and changed a solenoid in tha box which fixed it... Anyone in Melb got a TCU i can borrow to check whats going on? Whats the deal with this stupid gearbox computer.. Whatever happened to the good ol hydromatic.. or even tha powerglide...

They died with the dinosures :D , Yeah the powerglieds were almost undistructable
