Hi there,
My wheels finally arrived! :D
they are a set of lowenhart LDR! (replica...lol) but looks like the real ones especially with those lowenhart centre caps
now..
what tyres profile should I go?
225/35 for the front and 235/35 for the rear
will they rub??
the rims are 19x8.5 offset 45
and for lowering
what springs should I buy? I don't wanna change the shocks yet so just springs for now
how much would they cost?
I want to lower it just above the tyres

just get the guards rolled.. shouldnt cost u anymore that 50 per corner..
i have 235's and no rubbing at all (mine's dumped on 50mm lovels)

245/35/19, nothing like a bit more rubber for extra traction! (on a dry road that it...)

a 225 and a 235 are not the same diameter or width, and i think that a 225 on a 8.5" rim would lookn stupid, go no skinneier than 235

235 would be the absolute minimum on an 8.5 rim. i had 235/35 on 19x8.5 and had no rubbing issues. although i'd probly suggest 245/35 or 245/30 (if ur worried about rubbing). the wider rubber will not only give better grip, but also help to protect ur rims from any gutter mishaps. You may also want to trim some of the plastic inner wheel guard in you front wheel arch, as you'll find that you will rub against that when you are turning.
JIC you didnt realise : 235 = the width of rubber, 35 = the profile (expressed as a percentage of the width-in this case 35% of 235), and R19 equals 19" diameter.

225 on a 8.5 rim would be ridiculous! just from the point of cosmetics, let alone safety issues!!! :bowrofl:

35% of 235 = 82.25 :| so does that relate to the height of the wall or no? because if so that is a pretty high wall.

well i'd immagine it would be 235mm so thats 23.5cm therefore 82.25 is 8.225 cm.. doesnt sound too unreasonable to me.. i dunno

on a 19" rim have tyres that are 3.3inches thick! hell unreasonable :|
