Hey all

Sorry if this has been done, I tried searching but couldn't find anything specific.

I want to lower my TR and put 18's on there. I want SERIOUSLY low. Obviously there are no bodykits available for the 2nd gen magnas so I want it as low as it can go. I'm not really bothered about the legal side of things or insurance (yeah I know I'm stupid but I'm young and an idiot)

So are Super lows the way to go? I'm estimating that I want about a 4" drop...is this possible? does anyone have any pictures or links or anything of TR's with 18's or just ones that are insanely low?

Thanks dudes

That there has Lovell SuperLows in Front and Lowered Pedders in the rear! Sitting on 17s..

Its been lowered and is sitting on 18s. I don't mind it personally.. Black Rims, slightly different, but a nice car!

4" is 100mm

Superlows are 50mm

You do know that your car will not be legal when it's down that low? (Well in NSW it wont be, the limit is 100mm clearance from the ground to the lowest point on the car, tassie might be different)

Also you will have bad handling and a REALLY rough ride.

But if you're prepared to put up with those side affects, go for it. You'll also need to get a camber kit to stop the wheels caving in (for lack of a better term)

Why dont you consider Airbags?
You could get an airbag setup for around the $2000 mark and it will be sitting on the sills.

I still like the Silver one with Black 18s.. He must have custom made springs. Made to his preferred height! Worth a thought.. Unless you got the mulla for Airbags!

Don't forget with the white Diamante that the front is most likely to be so low due to it being parked on an incline? Probably has a huge sub boot in he boot too :)

But still.. I don't mind parking my car on an incline.. LoLz!
I reckon it'd still be preeeety low even though its on an incline..
