Well i've just come into the ownership of a fun novalty horn, that has the wolf whissle and the old car horn, and i wanna put it in the magna, anyone does this before or could show me how its done??

yeh mate ive got a novelty tarzan horn as most ppl who've seen my car, have heard.

your best off to hard wire it too your battery with a switch in the cable.. pretty basic really.

Just remember to earth the switch if its illuminated. The horn should have a wire to earth also.

If you arent sure how to do it yourself, autobarn will do it for $30.

isnt it just a matter off taking the window washer bottle out and simply swapping it over???
thats how i done mine. although mine was a stock mitsubishi for a new stock one. this is on a TL however

a good way of doin it, tho i cant exactly tell you how, is to wire it in to the normal horn button on the steering wheel, and have a swap-over switch, so you can just use the wheel for either the novelty, or the normal, pending on which position the switch is.
i have this for my klaxxon (aka 1920s aooooggaaa) but had the car audio blokes do it when i had sub done and that. so yeah, sorry about the lack of instructions, but its a good idea

any horn is better than the stock mitsi one... sounds like a bloody forklift horn.. makes the car sound woosey when u beep it at some idiot cuttin u off..

Tell me about it! The wife reckons a mouse farting sounds more menaceing. Funny how when the alarm goes off it's louder then when you hit the horn. Wish Mitsu used all 3 horns normally, TH on Magnas with factory alarm that is.

nar i dont dont rekon it does. it just makes ppl look at you instead of laugh at ure woosey litlte horn.. i had 2 horns outta a toyota soarer in my old mitsi rvr.. however forgot to take them out when i sold it.. now they had some balls about them.

Hehe.. rhys i can just see you now, driving down the road getting cut off by some old woman and you instantly slamming the horn as a matter of habit, and then just hearing a wolf whistle coming from your car.. :D
