just got some alpine 4"speakers to go in the factory dash location,, but they are too deep, i cut the plastic under the factory holes but they still won't fit and then the holes won't line up. i was thinking of putting them in the doors, but i'd rather put 6" ones there. any idea where i can put them?

Personally I think 4" are useless, so I'd put them on ebay and get yourself a nice set of splits upfront. However, if you wanted to keep them you could mount them on the dash by having them raised up and on an angle facing towards you if you wanted.

i put a pair of six inch splits in the door, there is a space behind the trim there and you just have to put a hole in the lower carpet section.

They will fit, theres heaps of room up front, just cut back a bit more plastic.

they fit fine. but 4" are small and therefore crap. get some 6"s in the doors.

not all people want to carv up there doors ... and you loose the map pocket when you put them in the doors ... i dont know about everyone else but mine were full of maps ... they shoulda just called them crap pockets

i neva had map bockets in my car. maybe this dude dont either.
