Hey all,
Just swapped my 83 VH SLE V8 commodore for a 96 TS Wagon.
Problem I've got (among others) is everytime the central locking is actuated it blows it's fuse.
I just leave the fuse out now cos I've spent $10 on fuses already.

the spot the fuse goes has "strg H/lock" written on it as well
what the hell is the Steering H/Lock.

and any ideas where to start tracking down this short

OOH and is it possible to adjust the petrol flap release cable cos mine don't work.
Gots to jam a piece of wood under it then prise the flap open
cheers.

By the way, why don't any of the technical articles work.
are they just not there, or not written yet?
I need to find out how to remove the dash to replace some LED's

Technical articles - dont work. Central locking relay - theres a panel where your right foot is, under the fuse box. 1 or 2 screws to remove it. As for getting dash out - for the speedo etc, there is 2 screws at the top of the black plastic thing that surrounds the dash. Pull that out, then 4 screws and the instrument cluster comes out. I cant remember off the top of my head if there is anything else. Try getting a haynes manual or something similar. They have a world of information. Kind of...Anyway, you could also try a search to find things. Might find some better information
