Ok all you Mits fans, mspidey8 is back with problems. Need your help. Been a while since I have been on the forums been working on the 03 Maxima just got. I think Quicksilver a bit mad or jealous but anyways. Had to take the girl in for a non reading gas gauge and she keeps feeling like when I am on the highway and coming to a stop she wants to shut off. Went to the dealer and they tell me a few things. First they ask when is the last time the car had a tune up (spark plugs changed) I did this about 2 yrs back (spark plugs) NGK Titianum plugs, plenum was $%*@ to take of but managed easy once I found out what to do. :rant: Ok they said two things first the IAC Motor needed to be replaced 676.95 for that and the fuel pump needed to be changed 795.95. Does this seem real or is it me. Can someone tell me where I can pick these up and if it is hard to change out I can not believe it cost this much for just parts. Also trying to do upgrades on Quicksilver is there a better fuel pump that I can pick up other than the factory. Going to do some mods ( air, exhaust,cams, to start will getting a better fuel pump benefit or just stay with Mits parts. Some help here guys, I am at your mercy. :bowrofl:
