i recently cracked my rocker cover (dont laugh it happens to the best of us) and i purchased a swap from a wreckers but it appears different, my rocker cover had mitsubishi on it and the new one says aston 2, it also looks different at the spark plug divets, will it fit or have the i bought the rong cover?
sounds like u got a rocker cover off a 1st gen.....dunno if its gonna fit or not, should be pretty close.

different as the in the diverts where the rocker cover goes in on the old one for the spark plugs where semi circular and on the replacement one they are more shallow and longer but length wise they are they same and vacuum hoses are in the same spot

Yeah my brother in law cracked mine when reinstalling it, paper thin they are. I got another one from the wreckers which was not easy, not many willing to part with it. My replacement is from an old pre TR magna that had a carburettor and does not even say anything. But it installs and works fine assuming the past year is any indication. Feels less of a TR magna now though, without the Mitubishi label on the rocker cover :cry: you will have to recycle bits and bobs from the old broken rocker cover, if I recall correctly.
