Hey guys any one in adelaide got a spare tn master cylinder they want to sell, i just recently (weekend gone by) put a new 5 speed manual gear box/clutch and pressure plate in my car. went alright till it started doing what it used to the clutch pedal only comes out half way, and when i put my foot on the clutch it only gives me around 1- 1 and a half inches of clutch. this causes the gears to grind, exactly what it used to do till my old gear box packed up and meshed in between gears. lol. so i am guessing it is now the master cylinder which is not giving enough pressure. Any one selling one or with other ideas would be greatly appreciated
(sorry bout the long post)
Check the Master Cyl pushrod first bro... could be bent..typical problem with the 1st gens... thats what is wrong with mine atm.

haha, you was right exactly, well sort of, mine wasnt bent but worn out :S lol so what we did was weld 2 washers either side of the bracket, works perfect.

yer, because if your pedal is a bit slack that is prbably the fault, only made out of piss weak metal and there for after years of clutching it wears, i should have taken photos to show
