bonnet looks awesome, but it doesn't really flow with the grille, i think you need to do something there, come up with maybe a custom grille? I'll have a play with photoshop and see what i can come up with :D.

I think it's obvious that the picture is poor quality, and if you look closely all the lines match up with the sun and all the shadows match up.

The bonnet with the big holies in them adds at least 30kw ATW, photochop or not!

I think you have done a great job :thumbsup: I always liked the old fords scoop designs and it sits quite nicely on your car... i just hope you one day can boost the muscle under the hood to give it more significance

Don't worry about the people who doubt, unfortunately we always have people who are quick to whip out their expert skills in photo image analysis and cry fake...

Just do what I tell everyone else, turn it into a positive... feel complimented that you have done it that well, that people cant tell if it is fake or not! ;)

Only one person was nasty about it. Others were curious as to it's validity. Now it's valid we believe him.

You fooled alot of people here ( not an easy task)

and IF it's real give yourself a bigger pat on the back
Bonnet mods are hard given the huge surface area to repair and get right

Yeah, if you have pics in a series of how you actually did it, I'd love to see them. I've always loved the XB bonnet scoops and am trying to find a good way of force feeding scoop to CAI to Pod on a third gen, just haven't decided yet.

please post up a complete worklog after seeing that it is real im wondering how hard it is to do, cause that looks awesome, my friend has the bonnet scoops of a ford gt so i might nick them and get another friend to cut my bonnet and put them in

Just a question.... isnt it illegal to cut into your bonnet?... but then again each state is different... i thought in sa they had thoes crappy standards where everything had to be perfect?... i wouldnt a nice bonnet scoop... just never thought it was legal? only legal to buy an aftermarket hood with them already in?

in qld you can have a bonnet scoop as long as it keeps to some dimensions, i forget they are in a pamphlet qld transport have in their branches. But you have to get an engineers certificate/plate or something so best going and talking to them or qld transport before you plan something big.
