hey guys went for a spin in a mates tn, his is fully worked, but runs straight gas through it, has the head shaved to 12:1, ported, polished all the norms done to it, i was quite suprised how well it ran, he said gas has a higher octane then fuel, and so then when compressed harder or something (i think i mucked up) runs actually better in worked cars, rather then petrol

standard pistons, and standard valves, he knows magnas inside out pretty bloody well, helps me with mine. i asked him what was the go did he have to change pistons valves etc to strengthen them, he reckons that magnas have pretty strong valves, etc and they dont really need ot be changed, tell you what for a gas motor it goes !#@% hard as, lol did u know gas has an octance rating of around 110, and PULP or wat ever only has around 98, when you get gas burning right it goes harder then normal petrol

yer thats true, used to have an old xf which ran straight gas, only problem is that gas dries up all the seals in motors.

my car starts on gas every time!
the carby is just annoying to tune, and the secondarys are siezed, and the fuel lines are squished....i cant be ****ted withit anymoire
so i just wanna run either a good weber( so i can still run fuel one day), or straight impco or gas reasearch carby from a holden or ford cortina.....
