Hey ppls,
My magna is startin to do weird things lately. I just came back from a qld trip, and haven't ran the car in a week. Lately, i've been getting very low idle when i chuck the trans into reverse. Sometimes, it even stalls on me. Then, just today, while driving, I got to a traffic light, and the idle got so low, the engine stalled. I tried to re start the engine, but it just kept stalling on me. So what I had to do, was to keep the engine speed up by revving it to 1k rpm, in neutral at the lights, and then chuck it into drive as soon as the lights turn green. I know that's very bad for the engine, but it was the only way I could get home. Any thoughts on what this could be and how to fix the problem? could this just be the idle speed I need to adjust? Also, when and if the car does seem to idle, it will idle roughtly, i.e. go from 600rpm - 900rpm. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it, but a few days ago, I did see a big puddle of red liquid, which seemed to be transmission oil, or some oil that has the same viscosity. It was below the drivers side engine bay. I've checked and re checked, and there doesn't seem to be anything leaking AT ALL from my car, either off or on. This is really weird. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
