I recently had just over $3000 worth of work done on my car: starter motor, clutch, gearbox overhaul and a few seals. Today i noticed that my car is leaking oil! The oil does not look like engine oil, it is dark and thicker, whereas my engine oil is new and clear. It is leaking from somewhere around the gearbox, because i found the oil under where the gearbox is. Here are some pictures of where it is leaking from, can anyone tell me where the leak is coming from? It is going to have to go back AGAIN to be fixed! Not happy

Hard to see where the oil is coming from, have you checked your gearbox and engine oil levels?
I always thought gearbox oil was a redy colour. Whereabouts did you get the work done?

its coming from under the gearbox, so im guessing it is coming from the gearbox, its definitely not engine oil...
Im going to call them tomorrow and they can fix it! I spend over 3k i expect it to be all ok afterwards.

Took it back in thismorning. They have to take the gearbox out again to replace a seal. So they need it overnight...they have had my car more than i have in the last 2 weeks! :doubt:
