A couple people here have just got a piece of MDF under their carpet which they screw down on to. That way there is no drilling of the floor for water to get in etc. Or for what you want, velcro would be fine. I have my amp velcroed to the carpet in my boot till I can get my install finished, and it hasnt moved at all. Velco, cheap, easy, safe and no mess! :D

My sub box is held down by velcro... and to think they wanted me to pay 50 odd bucks for a "sub holding strap".... i spent $2 on velcro from crazy clarks... works fine! lol

My sub box has L-brackets on each-side, drilled into the pillars on each side of the boot. Works fine, couldnt careless if theres holes in the car. Take your rear seat out and you'll see holes and see the concrete under-neath you.
