Hey guys..... I wanna install my new CD player deck, I can get the centre console panel out from the top, but the bottom is very hard to come out and I dont want to snap anything. does anyone have any ideas on how to remove it? I've done half the job as i can get the top half off. but the bottom part where the electric mirror button and ciggy lighter are is very hard to get out.

If anyone knows how to remove this and in the easiest way I would very much appreciate it.

Danielremove the console piece that surrounds the gear stick that is just clips then pull out the cig light one

Thanks for reply dude, but my car is 2nd gen not 3rd.. the console structure is more different. the TJ is easy to remove, but not on the TR/TS model
