Car Audio KL Verada Oct 2004 can anyone tell me what brand of unit it is......and is it any better than the one installed in the 2000 EI Verada. Has anyone got experience with external temp(not engine temp) gauge installation.....to replace the in dash one they removed on later models.

I was told stereo in KL GTVi as well as earlier veradas is Audiovox. KL unit is definately a big improvement on earlier models.

Purchased inside/outside temp gauge from Dick Smith electronics $30.00. Fitted it between cd player and vents on centre of dash. Ran sensor though gap between stereo unit and dash so you cant see the wire and out through engine bay to front grill 9in front of battery) and attached sensor to grill slat (out of sight).

Works great and looks good on the dash.
