Some of you may have noticed from a few of my recent threads ive been trying to figure out a cheap way to get rid of the spoiler on my TE. Now is it poosible to do a boot swap and put a TJ boot in there and then put in some nice rear lights to match. If so how much would i be looking at and where would be a place to look. Its black so i am not sure how difficult one would be to find or if spraying would be needed

can't help you with that on patric - not really my forte. Best bet is to go to the wreckers - Magna Wreck, have a look at a TE and TJ model magna and see how they woudl fit up.

change the bootlid, and change the lights to TJ items, and yuor set!@

If your going to be getting a new boot lid and spraying it....

Just sell the spolier, fill the holes, and respray ya bootlid.... be way cheaper... and tinted frosted tail lights :D would look sxc

Pat. I'm a spray painter and I agree with skotty. Get the spoiler holes welded up and the boot repainted, it will be the cheapest way out. Any competent panel shop can do it. If you want a TJ bootlid you need to get TJ tailights as well as TE/TH lights have a slightly different profile.

what colour is the car? its TE yeh?

colour codes changed when TJ arrived so will ore then likely need a repsray

as for rear lights, my KJ rada lights cost 300 from magnawreck, nice guys down there

i would say a boot be around 300-400? but wouldnt go by me, giv them a call they will tell u price on a new boot n lights

Yeah its a black te was resprayed before i bought it. I like what you have done with yours thugdout with those verada lights. I think it would suit mine also. I'll be checking in with magna wreck frequently to see if the lid and lights come int. I'll post some pics when its done next year
