Hi guys ( and girls )

I am looking at putting 19" rims on my TL, as with most people i am stuck on trying to find a tyre that has a legal load rating.

What i am asking is if anybody that has 19" Rims on their magnas with a tyre that has a 94 load rating can you please tell me what brand tyre it is ( model number if possible ) and where you got it from.

Thanks in advance.

i think you'll find that no-one with 19's on a magna has the correct load rating.

here in SA it can legally be greater then 94 as well if anybody knows of any tyres that fit the bill.

That's the issue. Typically as you go for a lower profile (depending on the aspect ration) your load rating drops.

I just went through that whole issue here in Tas. I paid for 94 load rated tires as that is what the TL needs. However only a 93 set was put on. So after some complaining and apologizing form Bob Jane I got a set of 97 load rated tires put on because that is the only ones they had in stock. So I went from a $220 tire to a $360 tire for free. It is an offence in Tasmania to drive on illegal tires. Make sure that you sought it out. As a bonus having a higher load rated tire gives you a stiffer sidewall and a better grip. BTW i got Maxxis Ma-V1 VICTRA 235*45*17 97V. and they look sick
