Is this since you got your haltech put in?
Not sure if its any help, but to adjust base idle on a 3.0L you need to insert a jumper wire between terminals 1 and 4 on the diagonostic connector under the drivers side dash then simply adjust the screw at the top of the throttle body per below picture until its set as desired. Then remove jumper wire.
Sorry about the pic as I took the pic with my camera out of my haynes manual, but you get the idea :D
a jumper wire ?? so like a multi meter ?

No, like a single wire.......to short the signal.....i.e. cut a small length of wire, stick it in terminal one and stick the other end in terminal four to short the two together.
Once shorted together, adjust RPM per previous picture. Once set to desired RPM remove jumper wire. Enjoy :D
aight sweeet can do that
will do in the morning :D

Is the high idle from a TB mod or a haltech tuning issue? Most idle dramas are from poor TB modifications esp when attempting to oversize.
i changed tb a while back now never had an issue..
since havin the haltec put in and removed now the aircon is also wired up differently so that it doesnt raise the revs it just drops them

Who installed and 'tuned' the Haltech for you? How much did it cost may I ask?
