just got a tl for a song at auction, great car for the $$ btw.

Is it normal that the trip computer shows a range of about 180kms, then a couple of k's later the fuel light comes on and the range goes blank.?

Does that mean u could do 150kms with the light on??

My other car - peugeot 307 turbo diesel fuel light comes on when range is about 60kms and the range keeps displayed as it drops.

Mine goes lower than 180kms but it doesnt count down to 0. It stops at 50km or so( I think) Reset the trip computer and failing that take the battery off for a while. Oh and what TL did you get and how much?

mine shows 140kms to go at light but it's more like 80 or so. It works well otherwise.

is this common with the trip computer?

Its just a 2003/04 tl es saphire blue 40000kms ex Premiers office. 15 grand + 250 auction fee
ok so it wasn't a 'song' but for 20k off new car price i'm happy

towbar as well which i needed :D

BTW could have got a beige AWD tl for $700 more....
