Hey guys, I was driving around today just locally when my car felt a bit weird, I was having to put my foot down on the accelerator alot harder to make the car go anywhere, then all of a sudden i was slowing down yet the revs were going up.. Now the car starts fine, everything is good but when i go into gear (either L, 2 or D) it just revs and won't click into gear. Every now and then it will click in and i'll move but I haven't been able to make it over 20km/h.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be? I hope it's not a blown transmission :cry:

check the oil level

Oil for both transmission and engine are perfect, although the tranny oil smells a bit odd, might drain it and put in some new stuff...

very probably could be a clutch problem; and before you ask autos have a clutch too
