I am trying to figure out the std 13 cables from my info for a normal car stereo, not including RCA outs.

8 X Speaker cables
1 x Continious power
1 X ACC
1 x Ground
so i am missing 2 cables, which ones that is the question????
does it means dimmer cables or any thing else.

There should be a remote out on there somewhere (if its an aftermarket unit) to switch on amps and stuff
(its usually blue)
8 x speaker
1 x constant power
1 x accessory power....(only gets power when you turn your key to acc or on)
1 x power antenna......(sends power to your power antenna if you have one)
1 x illumination............(gets power when you turn your lights on)
1 x remote for amp.....(sends power to your amp to turn it on when the deck turns on)
1 x mute.....................(for hooking up a hands free kit for a mobile phone, will mute your music when the phone rings)
By my count that makes 14 wires on a deck..... where are you getting your reference of "standard" from?
Perhaps you're not including the mute wire that I guess is probably only on newer decks and wouldn't be on older models.

Actually ENCN - the remote for the power antenna and the amp is normally the same wire which is reffered to as the remote power wire
but apart from that you are spot on!

Oh.... I was pretty sure that when I wired mine up it actually had a separate wire for antenna and amp.... oh well, it was over a year ago, I could be wrong. :?
