hey guys.... just a question that im thinking of doing to improve the look of my magna...

but do mitsubishi xi verada interiors {leather/powerwindows/climate control} fit straight into a TF magna? how hard is it to fit the power windows/electric seats/climate control/center console? and do the front bumper {with the fog lights} / rear bumper and side skirts fit perfectly onto the the magna?

im thinking of this because i want a leather interior for my car, but am thinking of a cheap alternative (which is getting it out of a verada).

{dont say that i should just get an xi verada, becasue i dont want one... my cars manual - and most {if any} manual veradas would be a bit exy to buy.

i know it will be a time consuming effort.... but is it possible? has anyone done it before?

the interior should swap straight over, only problem i could see is wiring up the electric windows (unless the harness is already there) the motors and everything should swap straight over.

the other problem would be climate control... not sure how this one works, but i'm guessing theres some temperature sensors somewhere. other than that, door trims, seats etc would be instant swaps

It all seems nice and all..but IMO, is sounds liek ALOT of effort..

If I were you, leave out climate control at the start, it's a ***** to do and pricey. Just get all your trims and seats first. But i'd also suggest spending time in a car with leather first too, it's all fun and good when you show off your car, but there are alot of times i'd rather velour (sp?) or jsut cloth seats :P Try and nab a KH dash dial cluster, nothing better than flashing lights and pretty colours :P

Slightly off topic, but will a KH optitron intrument cluster, the ones that are black until you turn the key, work in a standard magna?

No they wont they use a different loom to run them. I tried this when i worked at MMAL cos i was interested in doin it.

All I have to say is that the Mitsubishi Magna Xi's are one of the nicest magna's around, the best I have seen, but Black is a must.

The VRX / RalliArts are awesome to.

if you are putting the interior into the execs remember that the Veradas had a power drivers seat, some with power passenger seat also...
