Looks like everything is working with my DEH-P8650MP, but 1 question, when I put it to "CD" the auto antenna doesnt go down, where with my sony (bloody peice of junk) it use to, just wondering what could be the problem if any?

Seriously you have done everything right it is just that the pioneers use the remote turn on wire to activate the auto aerials. I used a $2 switch on mine mounted on the bottom console. Keeps everyone occupied for hours watching it go up and down. Just cut your aerial wire and wire in a switch, easy. :D

Yep some headunits have it on power on. Others on radio on. Radio on makes more sense as it doesnt wear out the antenna. But it would if you were constantly changing from radio to cd. So meh...

some headunits swap to radio when u eject a cd, so their antenna is going up then back down everytime u wanna listen to something different.

stay happy with how it is.. or else like someone said, use a switch.
