Hey guys been looking at the 1st gen forums, looking a bit dull lately, so i thought i might start a little 'what if' ball rolling. i know 2.5k isnt much but in reality its acheive able so tell us what you would do to your bundle of joy if you were given 2 and a half grand to blow on it :)

Earthquake Sub-Zero subwoofer, Earthquake Amplifier to power it, and the rest on sound-deadening to stop the car from rattling away.

I would bring the car back to show room condition, spen lots of time at wreckers finding new looking parts to change over.

Engine wise I would skim the head, get a cam regrind and a set of extractors into a 2.25 inch mandrell exhaust with a mid and rear muffler, unless its an auto, in which case I would throw the car away.

i think for starters i would cut the rust out of my doors, and tail gate :cool:
as for mods i reckon a good head job on it wouldnt go astray, lol nice sounding exhaust as well, n prolly a port n polish, and a cam

well assuming it was second car (stock standard with manual trans and in good mech order) and wouldnt have to drive it in traffic;

twin carb setup
stage 3 or 4 cam (peak power at 6500rpm)
heavy duty valve springs
vernier cam gear
2.5inch exhaust with hotdog and free flowing muffler

well *if* my car was manual and i didn't suck at manual driving (don't flame me please guys)

i'd probably do a few things with it
cam
extractors
performance filter
(already have an exhaust on it)
bit of head work

considering its pretty much stock right now apart from the exhaust, for a 4cyl after being tuned it goes pretty hard when pushed, much more so than it was a couple weeks ago. new fuel filter helped me with that
