Hey guys,
got to work on the interior of my baby 2day. I started work at about 3:pm and i got all 4 door trims re done by night time so i was pretty happy with that. The result though, i am bloody rapped with! i think it looks $1,000,000!
i had some left over material so i made a Gear Stick Boot aswell! i think it looks awesome for a homemade job by a youngen. I did look out for detail though, i used a proper end peice so it fits properly around the shaft and i attached it at the bottom aswell.
I still need to get an aftermarket Gear Shift Knob and then it should look very smoooooooth..

I think the quality of the material and the quality of the fitting is excellent. The only thing I don't particularly like about it is the white colour. The rest of your interior is dark grey and light grey, and I just don't see any room for white in an otherwise grey interior. Grey or Black (both dark colours) would have matched fairly well, but if you plan on putting a whole lot more white in the interior you could get it to match well.

Yeh I dont know about the white either.. depends on the rest of the plans.. Although in a white car its rather PIMP. Do the seats in white leather and youre set!

yeah, there is more white goin in. i have to start somewhere with putting white in coz ive only had the car for about 4 days.
The whole center console is goin white, along with the air vents and the speedo sorround. i am also getting a white dash display. There is deffinatly mroe white goin in but it is early days.

As someone said earlier, the workmanship is top notch but i'm not keen on the white.

Is it hard to do it by your self?

its not hard but if you try to rush it you will make some little and silly mistakes that will show up on the end result. i dont know how you other guys got the old trim off the doors but i just ripped mine off, keeping it in one piece. after you do a couple your hands get a tad tired and sore, but its nothing major, just soldier on and get the job done. i really like my boot cover, looks very proffesional and i made it myself so it helps to make the car feel more personal.
