I seriously don't know anything about cars, but i know I am fed up with the automatic transmission in my 85 TM elite, I wanna know if it is possible to hook up a 5 speed manual to the stock engine??? 2.6 carbie??? would that be better or what?

yes it is possible, and yes it would be better infact its one of the best mods you could do, magna autos are CRAP!

Use the search feature in the 1st gen section, you should find lots of info on the changeover. If you cant find what you want just repost in this thread. :D
