My 3rd Gen will not start if the engine is parked on an Angle, It starts good on a Flat but in where it resides, the Car port.. It wont Start , it has all the related problems of a Flat Battery but if that was the case, then why will it start fine on a flat surface???

more info does the lights work is it in park does the remote un lock the doors?

Its a Manual and Yes all unlocks Everything is fine except it wont start when I park it on an Angle Down hill or Up hill

Have you checked the electrolyte level in the battery :)

Done that aswell.. It just has me absolutely stumped, the Plates are Clean and are not fused in any way ..

Probably has nothing to do with it but try pushing the key in hard when you start it i doubt this will work but some people (including me) have been having immobilisor troubles with the key switch (transponder thing). As i said doubt it has anything to do with it but its good to eliminate it.

is it cranking over???

may want to check the earth wires to bodt and engine

Nope it has all the signs of a Dead Battery, it can be Cable Started...( Using a Car that is not Fuel Injected with Surge Protection Leads) and then it is fine..

It seems to drain over night but there is nothing left switched on in the car, and it only goes flat when parked on an angle.... Bloody strange...

lol i think the door lights might be staying on my old tr used to do this if i parked on an angle the interor light would stay on have you got door lights?

turn the battery around :P that way it will go flat on a forward incline instead :P

It exploded this morning Electrolyte every where..
