Each to their own as far as pods and panels go. If you get a pod, make sure it's got decent CAI. Panel's cheaper and fits into the existing airbox nice and simple.

Do a search on this buddy.

but you will mainly find that most people are half and half. Although i prefer a panel filter at this stage. It is apparently better for low end torque (traffic lights :) ) and the pod is better for high speed cruising. but the panel is simple to install, cheaper and a good all rounder

good luck

a search are you kidding id like to see you search for that on these forums because ive tried it before and its almost impossible to get anything you need. simply because people have panel filter in there signatures or they are talking off topic and mention the filter. the terms are too widely used its like searching for "the"

Does a search search signatures tho? I dont think it does?

Anyway, search is there for a reason.

i read the original post when it first got put up and just laughed. however my cai is coming along so hopefully soon ill have a fair bit to add to this discusion. on that topic, when i finish the initial setup, im gonna need a third gen magna to use as a test case so i can work out how it will be setup.(basically i just need to look at your engine bay to see how ill fit it) any volunteers? actually a decent pic now would be good.
