Cant seem to find if this has been asked before anywhere but does anyone know if you can get an extra seat fitted in the back of third gen wagons? and is it legal?

the ea falcons had a dicky seat in some models of thier wagons, maybe you could source one of these? plenty around id imagine..as for the legalities, ill have to leave that to someone else

yeah, no reason why you cant. you have to have it put in by some professionals cause you might need a mod plate for it to say the seatbelts have been done write. check out yellow pages (http://www.yellowpages.com.au) and see whats in there. there are people that specialise in this sort of stuff.

Maybe even try somewhere like AutoBarn (http://www.autobarn.com.au/). give them a call they might be able to point you in the write direction.

In vic theres alot of legalities regarding the extra seats in wagons... a friend of mine had one put in her ford and had to get an engineers certificate for vic roads ...dont know much details about it tho.
