headunits cost around $80 to install
Installing an amp/sub can take a while. $150 - $200 for a simple job.
If you really want it done I 'may' have some spare time. Got 4 other cars to start/finish before end of January.
Ring up a car audio shop and get a quote for the whole job. Try either Stylyn/Central Car Radio, Freeway, GL Pro Sound etc. And let us know the quote. We'll see what we can do from there.
Peace
Tim
edit: update ur profile, what car have you got?

installing it yourself will be a great learning curve.
i would say try and give it a go yourself, but if your afraid you'll screw it up, or just dont have the spare time, get someone to install it then, but for what your after, it will get into the hundreds.....

HU - under an hour
amp? - im not really sure, will take a bit longer as he has to run the power cable from the battery to the boot, and a set of RCA's, and a remote wire....so it will take a bit more...
give him a good 4 hours..

Get a head-start by taking out seats and what not. That'll cut off about 40mins itself.

What are we installing today? If it's the whole kebab (splits, sub/amp, headunit) then..
take the back-seat out (cabling will go under it all)
take door trims off (for splits)
take plastic crap off around door area (lift up the carpet area from front of cabin, to rear of cabin - so you can have the cabling go under the carpet).
take passenger-side door out (if mounting amp underseat)

so if im just installing an amp n sub and the sub is going on the boot then i just need to do that

Pretty much yeah. I'm not real sure how you're having it all setup so it's a little difficult for me to explain, but the best thing to do is to take the back-seat out (both parts, where you sit, and where your back rests).

i reckon 45mins for the H/U .. rest is pretty simple depending on where you want the amp ... but 4 hours tops
only a headunit , sub and amp ... not that big of a job really ... just time consuming

The headunit will be the biggest pain in the ass, pulling a dash apart is annoying. Last time I tried I snapped half the plastic. That's why I don't do them :P
